Message from Ashu Suyash,
MD & CEO, CRISIL
Congratulations on taking an important step towards a rewarding career in financial services.
The financial services industry is central to the development of the global economy. It constantly needs highly talented and smart individuals to address the complexities of an ever-changing market and to drive innovation.
As a global analytical company and India's foremost provider of ratings, research, analytics and policy advisory services, CRISIL has always strived to make markets function better. Aligned to this mission and leveraging our analytical prowess, the CRISIL Certified Analyst Programme (CCAP) was conceptualised to groom world-class financial analysts. Designed as a work-cum-study programme, CCAP stands apart owing to its unique methodology, innovative academic curriculum, on-the-job training, assured placement at CRISIL, and future career opportunities.
Last year, we made the programme even more meaningful by associating with the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), one of India's leading business schools, as an academic partner.
Over the years, CCAPians have proved their mettle within and outside CRISIL. Their deep knowledge, strong analytical mindset, good understanding of market complexities and business acumen has helped them stand apart.
So if you think you have the passion to excel, drive to fast-track your career, possess good communication skills and a fundamental understanding of finance, you are ready for the CCAP journey.
I am sure it will be a decision you will always be proud of.
I wish you the very best for the selection process and look forward to having you on board.
Ashu Suyash - Managing Director & CEO,
Message from Dr. Debashis Sanyal,
Vice Provost (Management Education) and Dean - SBM, NMIMS
We at the School of Business Management, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), believe in developing socially responsible managers with a global perspective through innovative approaches.
It is with this objective in mind that we have tied up with CRISIL to impart management education to students who sign up for the CRISIL Certified Analyst Programme (CCAP). This, we believe, will enhance their value as well-groomed professionals in an increasingly demanding job market.
We believe business management institutes need to work in partnership with industry to provide an educational platform and curriculum that allows Indian professionals to compete in the global marketplace. This is what underpins the collaboration between NMIMS, one of the top 10 business schools in India and a brand to reckon with in the world of professional education, and CRISIL, a global analytical company providing ratings, research, and risk and policy advisory services.
This partnership is aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of participants, and keeping them abreast of ever-changing and evolving corporate world. The faculty at NMIMS, which is an eclectic mix of industry and academic experience - both national and international - will help students understand the dynamics of the financial world.
From CCAP tenth batch onwards, a module specifically designed by NMIMS will be introduced to further add value to the course. Unlike classroom-based courses, CCAP provides students with much-needed work experience and enables them to apply their learnings on a real-time basis.
I believe the success of learning by doing programmes such as CCAP will go a long way in contributing to the growing needs of professional education in India.
