Executive Education Programs is the term used for programmes at graduate-level business schools that aim to give classes for Executives and other senior managers or entrepreneurs.

Management Programmer for Executives (MPE)

This is a week-end Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management Programme meant for working executives with minimum three years of work experience after graduation in an executive capacity. Completing this programme has a profound impact on the career of working professionals resulting in a changed outlook towards a wide range of areas. It also positively influences self perception and strengthens the executives’ confidence to take on new roles and objectives for their future career. Personal and professional growth is bound to happen as a consequence of the development of leadership and key decision making skills in this programme.

The Programme covers 24 courses and various workshops spread over 4 Trimesters. Its time frame is 22 months. During the programme the participants are required to complete a year long application – based industry project based on learning in the classroom under the guidance of an experienced faculty guide.

The pedagogy is interactive and largely based on case studies, supplemented by lectures, workshops and sessions with industry experts, presentations and business simulation games. In every trimester essential and non-evaluative workshops on areas of current interest are conducted for enhanced value-addition. Currently there are around 300 participants in this programme.

Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources (PGDHR)

The Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources (PGDHR) is for working executives interested in the area of Human Resources. This programme will enable executives and managers from various industries to share their perspectives and enhance their knowledge on contemporary HR issues and challenges.

The objective of the programme is to familiarize the participant with the processes and applications of Human Resource Management principles. It also helps to inculcate a pragmatic approach in aligning HR theory and practice with business objectives. Enhancing career growth in the field of HR by developing skills and competencies is required to meet the demands of the organizations today. Facilitating personal and Professional growth through skill building workshops. The pedagogy is interactive and largely based on case studies, supplemented by lectures, group activity, workshops and presentations. Emphasis is given on experiential learning and skills enhancement through workshops conducted by professional experts.

The programme covers 18 courses, 4 non credit courses and one essential workshop per module spread over four modules in 20 months. During the course, the participants are required to complete a year long application based industry project under the guidance of an experienced faculty / industry guide. There are 15 participants undergoing this programme.

Part-time MBA Degree Course

The 3-years Part-Time MBA program caters to executives with 3 years or more experience in the managerial cadre in medium or large organizations. The program offers an opportunity to a working executive to acquire a high-end compact management qualification through rigorous and qualitative in-class learning and also practical exposure through the industry expertise. It gives opportunity to the participants to hone their managerial skills and enable them to contribute better to their managerial decision making. The programme covers several aspects of managerial functioning that are critical to a manager’s effectiveness.

Developing a strategic perspective is an important focus of the program as it would help the participants to develop competencies to analyze the linkages within the business and with the external business environment. This enables the participants in formulating comprehensive and internally consistent strategies for the business unit and in thinking through the issues in implementing them. The cases reflecting global management experiences will provide participants an opportunity to discuss issues and challenges in their context.. The functional electives will be available in the area of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Management, Information Systems, and Operations Management. The pedagogy is case method coupled with other interventions such as role-plays, lectures, films, quizzes and business simulation exercises. There are 360 students undergoing this programme.

Diploma Programme in Management

An ideal programme that covers all-important areas of business management in just three trimesters and provides excellent opportunities for personality development. There are three specializations in this programme viz.: Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Human Resources Management and Diploma in Financial Management. The programme is completed in a year and there are 120 students undergoing this programme.
