Smita Mazumdar

Associate Professor

Smita Mazumdar is Programme Chairperson (MBA) and Associate Professor in the area of Finance with the School of Business Management, NMIMS, Mumbai, India. She holds a Doctorate in Management from NMIMS University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India.

She is a Certified Financial Planner and has completed a Masters in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. During her early career, she has worked in the Financial Services and Computer education sector for about 6 years and also experimented briefly with an entrepreneurial venture into financial intermediation. She has been into academics since 2002 and has been associated with NMIMS since 2009. She has presented her research in national and international conferences and has publications in reputed Scopus indexed and ABDC ranked journals.
