Business Insights for Managers: Culture and Capital
Program Overview
Organizations seeking to develop a competitive advantage, and retain talent, need to strengthen their network and provide employees with a platform to grow and connect with each other. Understanding that organisational health and social capital can hugely contribute in this arena; developing internal frameworks is a step in the right direction. Organizations, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), still rarely think about organizational health because various factors influence it. Social support for an organization implicitly provides a function of building a healthy organization, which is a form of social capital. Social capital—or the presence of networks, relationships, shared norms, and trust among individuals, teams, and business leaders—is the glue that holds organizations together.
This programme will help individuals to develop frameworks to manage workplace interactions more intentionally by developing an understanding of social capital in collaboration with the various stakeholders in the organization.
