Health Economics & Outcomes Research
Program Overview
Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) is a multidisciplinary field that combines principles of health economics and clinical outcomes to evaluate the value of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and health care interventions. It complements traditional clinical development information (i.e. efficacy, safety, quality) by providing set of analytical techniques to assist healthcare decision-making, regarding patient access to specific drugs and services. HEOR provides crucial data and insights to inform decision-making in healthcare policy, clinical practice, and market access strategies.
